NYS 3-8 & K-12 NYSELSAT Assessment Dates and Information

Dear Parents/Guardians,


This spring, we will be administering the NYS Assessments for students in 3rd - 8th grade according to the schedule below:

The ELA and Math tests will consist of two sessions over two days, and all assessments are untimed. Students can take as much time as they need, as long as they are productively engaged. All assessments will be administered in a Computer-Based format. Students school-wide will have opportunities to ensure they are familiar with the new Computer-Based (CBT) format through test samplers and simulations. 


Participation in these assessments is essential for providing our district with the data needed to evaluate our programs and support the individual needs of our students, and we encourage all students to participate.
